Authoritative but warm, familiar and reassuring. When you need a voice that is trustworthy but not stuffy – serious but not dull – I can help.
I’m principally a Radio Presenter – highly experienced in live broadcasting, which has always been at the heart of my working life.
The same skills I call on in the radio studio come in handy for other activities, such as hosting corporate events, conferences, awards ceremonies, musical concerts – anything that needs an engaging presenter.
I’ve been a Radio Presenter all my working life to date. News, speech, pop music, jazz & soul, and most recently Classical, as the breakfast host on Scala Radio – now renamed Magic Classical – across the UK from Bauer Media. Live radio reaches parts other media can’t, and I love being on the air.
In March 2019 Bauer Media launched Scala, Britain’s new national classical music radio station and I’ve been delighted to be at the helm of the weekday breakfast show ever since. In Autumn 2024 Scala was renamed Magic Classical, continuing to be a fun and inviting station, with a broad-brush selection of classical favourites alongside new material from movies and games, and always with room for a musical surprise. At a time of day when other breakfast shows are bouncing and yelping with excitement, I’m taking it rather more gently.

Though radio has always been my first love, I’m not afraid of the camera
